Directions
to the Stern Center
From Elkins
Park and Northern Suburbs
- Drive South on
Old York Road - Rte. 611
- Continue
on this road for 3.3. miles
- Along the way you will:
Cross Cheltenham Avenue.
At 68th Ave. there is a "Y" intersection
Keep to the left to stay on 611 South which becomes Broad
Street
Look for the following streets and landmarks: Olney Ave.,
Duncannon Street, go under RR Overpass - go approximately
6 more blocks
- See sign "US Route 1 South" ...turn
right at brick church onto service road ...go 2
blocks then merge left onto US 1 South.
- Along the way
you will pass the following exits: "Fox
Street"... "Ridge Avenue". The
next exit will be "76 West" - Valley
Forge
- Exit right to "76 West" - the
road bends to the right
- As you merge
with traffic get into the left lane immediately and exit
at "City
Line Ave" or US 1 South
(exit 33)
- Travel 3.8 miles on City Line Avenue to Haverford
Road
You will cross Lancaster Ave. (Route 30)
- Turn right onto
Haverford Road. (Black fence and JCC signs)
- Turn right into
the first driveway. You will be facing the school building.
- Parking:
there are 2 visitor's spots facing the
front of the building. You may continue pass the building
and park
in the first lot on your left.
From Center City
- Take
the Schuylkill
Expressway
(Route76) going West.
- Exit at US 1 South
. The exit will be on the left.
- Travel 3.8 miles on City
Line Avenue to Haverford Road
- You will cross Lancaster Ave.
(Route 30)
- Turn right onto Haverford Road. (Black fence
and JCC signs.
- Turn right into the first driveway. You
will be facing the school building.
- Parking: there are 2
visitor's spots facing
the front of the building. You may continue pass
the building
and park
in the first lot on your left.
