Students Cook with Ingredients from School Garden

Students participating in Perelman’s lunchtime Garden Club cooked up some tasty treats using figs, squash, tomatoes, mint, and more – all of which they harvested from our student-run garden! Throughout the year, students in the Garden Club are responsible for planting, maintaining, and harvesting a variety of fruits, vegetables, spices, and herbs, which are then used during hot lunch or for exciting cooking lessons.

We believe the school day isn't limited by the walls of a classroom and that your child’s education doesn't end when the bus comes. That's why we offer a broad array of activities during lunch and after school – each designed to spark your child’s energy, imagination, and talents as only Perelman Jewish Day School can.
