The story of Purim involves courage and identity — and our students are courageously stepping up to read it from the original source. We are so proud of their hard work and Hebrew skills, as they set such a glowing example for our younger students and the entire community.
Our students highlight the important value of giving tzedakah (chairty) through the creation of an interactive project inspired by the documentary, Caine's Arcade. Third grade students developed their own arcade games in our Makerspace, using only cardboard and recycled materials to design a day of fun for the entire school. Attending guests could also purchase a “Fun Pass” for the arcade, giving all proceeds going to individuals in need. Blending time-honored traditions with new ones of our own, Perelman students experience the joy and beauty of Purim.
