Perelman Students put a Spotlight on STEAM!

During an exciting event at one of our campuses, students and their families flexed their thinking and building skills together through 12 unique, engaging STEAM activations. Activities included coding robots by sequence and navigating them through a maze; constructing found-material platforms strong enough to support the weight of their stuffies; collaborating on a math scavenger hunt to discover numbers, shapes, and measurements around the gym; building functional circuits with modular electronic pieces; and creating a Van Gogh mural by drawing and coloring tiles on a coordinate plane!

At Perelman, STEAM is so much more than a buzzword — it’s something we put into practice each and every day as we help students approach new challenges with a problem-solving mindset. Through small accomplishments and giant steps forward, every child at Perelman celebrates bold achievements throughout the year.
