Faculty Implement Project Based Learning (PBL) in the Classroom

Last summer, our dedicated faculty attended PBL World 2024, the premier conference for advancing Project Based Learning (PBL). Through immersive workshops, they deepened their expertise and have been integrating new strategies into the classroom. One exciting example is a cross-grade PBL project where 3rd-5th graders collaborated to research, interview an expert, and develop persuasive arguments for the main course to be served school-wide on Shavuot. Students then presented to a panel of teachers and administrators, who selected the winning dish—one the students will cook themselves. At Perelman, our faculty’s commitment to professional growth ensures an innovative and enriching education for every student.
