Lag Ba’Omer Field Day & Celebrations

This year’s Lag Ba’Omer was one to remember! Perelman students, families, and staff enjoyed a day of games and relays, mouth-watering food, and perfect weather. We made s’mores, picnicked, sang, danced, and even enjoyed a bonfire. 

In Jewish tradition, we count the 49 days between Passover and Shavuot in what is called counting the Omer. The 33rd day of counting is marked by Lag Ba’Omer to commemorate the end of a terrible plague in the time of our sages — and a time when other joyful events are now held around the globe.

As the school year soon comes to a close, we’re so grateful for these moments to savor our incredible Perelman community.
