Third Grade Students are Making a Difference through Student-Run Lemonade Stand!

Perelman third graders are making a difference in the most refreshing way! 

In a fully student-run lemonade stand, students recently raised money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a national organization that supports pediatric cancer research, in conjunction with reading the novel, The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies. Through this interactive unit, our young entrepreneurs learned about financial literacy, community engagement, teamwork, and practicing math skills with real-world application. 

When our students put their minds to it, there’s nothing they can’t do! Building traditions like this is just one of the ways Perelman helps students shine.
