Perelman Students Make Big Impact in the Community
Our Student Council Tikkun Olam (healing the world) Committee spearheaded a tremendously successful project to collect items and prepare mishloach manot (Purim gift baskets) to donate to the Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) for underserved families.
Students in every grade packed and decorated bags and have been discussing the mitzvah of tzedakah (charity) and how this project is an example of how we can fulfill it. Our students are developing an understanding of ethics, morals, and values as fundamental aspects of Jewish life are being integrated into their daily lives.
