Community Gathers for Josh Katz Shabbat Dinner

Our community came together for an evening of community, sharing, and storytelling during a very special Shabbat dinner sponsored by the Katz family in memory of Josh Katz '93 z'l. 

Josh was the husband of Jessica, father to Theo '27, Lucas '29, and Spencer, and a wonderful son, brother, cousin and uncle. He will be remembered as a shining light whose dedication to Perelman was unwavering. Josh was an integral part of our Perelman family. He was generous with his time and talent - a true leader in the greater Philadelphia Jewish community, and a mensch in every sense of the word. He will be remembered for his passion, commitment, and selfless spirit.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of making this such a meaningful and special event. The supportive culture at our independent Jewish day school permeates every classroom, every event, every program. Our wonderful staff encourages children to discover themselves – to find what they love to study, to take risks, and to try again and again. In turn, our students work together to share ideas and find solutions. And our teachers join forces to help every child shine.
