Students Reflect at the Start of the New Year During Tashlich Ceremonies

In and out of the classroom, Perelman students are setting intentions for a great year ahead.

At a nearby creek, our students performed the Jewish ritual of Tashlich. They reflected on how they can become the best versions of themselves this year, brainstorming ideas with friends and teachers. In the process, they experienced the beauty of a Pennsylvania autumn!

During Tashlich, Jews symbolically cast off their wrongdoings from the previous year by tossing leaves, pebbles, or bread crumbs into flowing water, setting intentions for better choices and a better year to come.

At Perelman, students are making powerful memories of immersive traditions and laying the foundation for growth both now and for years to come.
