Perelman Students Compete in The Stock Market Game
Perelman students are learning how to invest in the stock market as they compete in The Stock Market Game - a state-wide competition in which students create and manage a pretend portfolio of stocks.
Over the next 16 weeks, students will work collaboratively in teams to purchase, sell, and diversify their stock portfolio with the pretend $100,000 they receive at the start of the game. Students will be responsible for deciding where they would like to buy stock and keeping track of all their investment data on a spreadsheet.
Students are diligently researching companies and gaining an understanding of the stock market as they learn how to analyze financial trends and build their economic skills!
