4th Grade Students Visit the Montgomery County Public Safety Operations Center

As the culmination of their integrated unit on science and natural disasters, our fourth grade students recently visited the Montgomery County Public Safety Operations Center and delivered presentations about natural disasters to a member of the operations team. During this unit, students researched a particular natural disaster and presented about how it forms, where it is typically located, what the effects could be, and how to stay safe. Our students are taking their learning into the real world and are demonstrating what it looks like to be powered by Perelman!
