During a unique social studies research project, 5th grade students selected and researched an influential American historical figure and then dressed up as them as part of a “wax museum.” Student presenters posed in the exhibit for the Gan through 4th grade visitors who had to approach and “unfreeze” each wax figure they wanted to learn about. Wax figures ranged from historical to present day figures including Alexander Hamilton, Walt Disney, Simone Biles, Steve Jobs, and Dolly Parton.
