Israeli Scouts Visit Perelman for Yom Yerushalayim Celebration
This Yom Yerushalayim, students immersed themselves in the beloved capital city, building models of the Kotel, (Western Wall) writing notes for hope and healing, and placing them in between its bricks; diving into history with special guests like Abraham, King David, and King Solomon; dancing; and so much more. Best of all, we welcomed Friends of Israel Scouts into our school for Hebrew performances, activities, and games that engaged our students through art, song, and language. Visiting each classroom, students had the opportunity to get to know the scouts as they participated in each activity together. The day came to a close with a fantastic performance by the scouts filled with singing, dancing, and lots of ruach (spirit).
At Perelman, learning is interactive, integrated, and full of joy and meaning!
