Families Get a Glimpse into the Classroom During Back to School Night
Families were welcomed into their children’s classrooms this week during Back to School Night, during which teachers explained classroom expectations and discussed our innovative curriculum! Teachers were joined by Head of School, Mitchell Daar, and Principals, Dr. Cook and Chagit, as families got a glimpse into the daily lives of their students.
In preparation for their parents’ arrival, students left notes at their desk for their guests to read and respond to. In some classrooms, families even had the opportunity to contribute to their student’s work – 4th grade students had created flowers with each petal containing a different hope or dream they had for the school year; during Back to School Night, visitors wrote their own hope or dream for their child, which was added as the final flower petal.
